I'm Phoebe Grassby, a married stay-at-home mum of one little boy (born on 16th May 2013), living in Buckinghamshire. I love being at home to see my son develop and learn new skills every day, even if this means I have to entertain and stimulate him very frugally. We are lucky to have music and playgroups on most days, so whatever child benefit is left goes towards toys and activities at home. This blog will talk about cheap and free ways I entertain my son, often with things lying around the house or that would get thrown out.
I am an avid knitter and crocheter. I make almost all of little bear's jumpers, as well as hats, toys, and anything else that grabs my interest. I have sooo many projects on the go that there doesn't seem like there are enough hours in the day to finish everything. This doesn't stop me from adding more and more projects to my never ending to do list though!
I hope that this blog will give other mums the idea that you don't need to break the bank to give your children an interesting and challenging upbringing.
